What happens during laser treatment for wrinkle reduction?

Prior to undergoing laser treatment for wrinkle reduction, make sure to protect your skin from the sun. Your specialist cleans your skin and gives you specialized glasses to protect your eyes from the laser. Treatments are typically painless.  For more aggressive treatments, topical products can be used to numb the treatment area in order to reduce discomfort.

Using a handheld device, your provider emits laser energy into targeted areas of your face to heat tissues and stimulate new collagen production. The size of the treatment area determines how long each treatment lasts.

What should I expect after the procedure?

After laser treatment with Alma’s ClearLift technology for wrinkle reduction, your skin does not appear swollen and is not tender. Clients can return to work or their other routine activities immediately after treatment. 3-6 treatments at 4-6 week intervals are recommended for the best outcomes. Maintenance treatments at 6 to 12 month intervals are recommended to maintain the collagen and wrinkle reduction that has been achieved.

ClearLift technology allows for no downtime after treatments, and you can resume a regular routine immediately. If needed, multiple laser treatments with periodic maintenance procedures offer you the long-term anti-aging results you deserve. 

Harmon XL Pro Erbium treatments work by lasering pixelated holes in the superficial skin which allow for smoother and less wrinkled skin after healing. After this treatment, clients can expect about 1 week of downtime while the superficial skin heals.
